My oldest starts preschool on Wednesday and being the crazy scrapper that I am i couldn't just write his info on a piece of paper. No i had to be a little more creative than that and hopefully i didn't go to over board. LOL!

This is the most amazing layouts I ever seen! Animated layouts are here. Its totally cool I can't wait to make one of my own! You know i was so overly excited about the animation at first i forgot to look at the designs themselves. Its really cool how she cut the paper around the words. Just a beautiful layout overall. What I've been working on

Hey All!
I have just a few samples of one of the kits I'm working on. I guess my goal to put out at least one kit a week did work out so well yet. Though I probably have started at least one new kit a week. Its completing it thats the hard part! lol! I was calling this kit midnight whisper but i really don't think that fits so when this kit is completed i will be having a naming contest and if i choose your name you can have the kit for free! yay!

Layout for Hummie's Themed Thursdays - Color

I made this layout a few months ago and thought it would work great for hummie's color challenge this week. I recoloured a few things from my vintage dreams kit to match her shirt and the others are from my Lilac Thyme kit

Decisions, decisions

I started working on a few kits again. Some I started a while back. This digital scrapbooking thing is so great but it can be a curse too. I could spend hours just changing the hue or tint of something. Its so hard to say enoughs enough!
Well I've been doing research on webhosting lately. I'm still totally clueless as to what I need. I want my own site as a catch all for everything. Now adays everyone pretty much needs a website. I want something that comes with a gallery and forum or one I can easily add those to. I really don't know if websites come with that or not. I'm also looking into some advertising options but figured I'd wait until I have my website. So if any of you want to share your favorite hosting sites I'd appreciate it.
One more day til hubby comes home! woohoo!

Busy Bee Thats me

Hey all!
Sorry I haven't had a chance to post much. I survived my first week of hubby being gone! I never realized how much he helped out with the kids. I've been totally wiped out by the time they go to bed so I've just been doing a little bit here little bit there. My littlest one (6mo) is awake now so I still havent had a moment of peace. At least she's smiling and not screaming!LOL! No she's ready to go. Any dh comes home friday. woohoo! Hopefully I'll be back on track by then.
I did think of an idea for hummie's tailgate party so i will try to work on that tonite or tomorrow and post a pic for you.

Tail Gate Party

I just found out today that Hummie is having a tailgate party leading up to the first DSD(digital scrapbooking day!) She has lots of stuff planned and anyone one can join the party. To start out you need to create an heirloom layout and post your link. I dont really have any "heirloom" photos so not sure what im going to come up with just yet. I did make an alpha to go with it but decided i wasn't happy with it so i will be working on that and have it available separately soon.

My husband is leaving for Madison, Wi tomorrow to complete his final year in the school of banking. I'll be glad when thats done. He'll be gone for two weeks! Heaven help me!lol I'm not sure if i can sanely handle three little ones and a dog on my own for that long. I'm sure well all survive though. We'll just watch a little more tv than usual. lol!

Another day another dollar

Today has been crazy busy so far! I went down to the local thrift store today. It was bag day! Ten dollars for all the clothes you can fit in a bag. I had a shopping cart over flowing and somehow managed to fit in in two bags! I was looking for school clothes for my oldest who starts preschool this year. I didnt find much for that but got tons for summer next year. So we are going shopping tonite.
Back to scrapping news. I am still working on the Summer's End Kit. Hope to have that done by Sunday. Pretty much going to aim for Sunday and/or Monday as my "release" days. I'm also trying to decide if I want to do a kit of the month and have it .99cents for a week then on sale for the rest of the month or just go crazy and have the kit of the month for 99cents for the entire month. Summer's End Digital Scrapbook Kit Preview

Hi there!

Just thought I'd share a preview of a digital scrapbook kit I'm working on. Its called summer's end. It has warm yellows, and oranges with a touch of green and brown. I plan to have it done in the next couple of days. So keep looking for that. I also plan on having a few freebies to go with it.

A day at the fair

We went to the taylor county fair today. Its a small fair but the boys enjoy it. My mother in law and I took a ride with the boys on the dragon wagon which is supposed to be a "kidde" ride. It looks harmless enough anyway. Boy were we in for a big suprise! It was like a real rollercoaster and we had to scream for him to stop the ride!lol!

I'm not but its the name of an interesting website I found today on Dale Harris's Blog (font creator). Anyway the title sure got my attention as I'm sure it did yours! So I thought I'd check it out. It's actually a really neat concept. If I understand it right people can submit their own pattern designs. People vote on them and you could win $500 and they create a really cool product with your design.

ok so that little project i was working on was putting my kits into another store. I got asked by a nice gal Lori Giles to sell my stuff in her store! She owns Digital Scrapn Designs which is pretty new but she's off to a great start and she does beautiful work. I have four kits in the store right now. I have a few more to add but I was in design mode tonight so hopefully tomorrow night I'll get them in there. with three little ones at home, night time seems to be the only time i get things done!
